Today Wednesday 23rd January 2008 I have been with the Weymouth Branch of the West Country Embroiders at their monthly meeting at Upwey Village Hall. I was asked to take along my Antique Costume collection to show them and to talk to them about it. We had a lovely day and they were a very interested, freindly and enthusiastic group. I had a lovely time and was pleased to be able to share my great passion with them.

In the News

This year I am participating in Dorset Art Weeks which will run from Saturday 24th May until Sunday 8th June.

I shall be exhibiting with a group in the Shaftesbury Area. I aim to have something for everyone from Textile Wall Hangings to Cards and Sketch Books.

The group I have joined with is a very interesting mix of Painters, Textile Artists and Paper Sculptor.

The venue will be THE METHODIST CHAPEL at ASHMORE, DORSET.
