I will be holding one day Workshops and Classes subject to demand in the following subjects:
 
LOW IMMERSION DYEING USING FIBRE REACTIVE DYES (PROCION)
 
This method of dyeing uses little water and produces wonderful results.
 
SIMPLE FELT MAKING
This class is an introduction to felt making .  Students will be shown the basics and then move on to small projects.
 
 
VINTAGE TEXTILE WORKSHOPS
 
All materials will be provided in this workshop.
Charming keepsakes and corsages will be created using vintage fabrics.
 
MIXED MEDIA
 
This class is an introduction to using mixed media.  During the day we will produce innovative surfaces for stitch using paper, plastic and fabrics.

For the dyeing workshop dyes will be provided and suitable fabric will be available to purchase but participants may bring their own 100% cotton if they prefer.
 
 

I give talks to Groups on my Antique Costume collection.  I bring my collection with me together with a small 'shop' selling buttons, lace, trims and useful bits and pieces for stitchers and textile artists.
